Oh Joy is a comedy about the kind of guy who doesn’t exist, and the girl who wants him.

Synopsis

Joy Adams is a typical thirty something woman living in Los Angeles; she’s convinced that there are no real men left in LA.  Against the protests of her friends, she packs her car and prepares to leave the city, certain there are men somewhere in America who don’t wax their eyes and wear designer jeans. Yet on the eve of her big adventure she meets Tom, a lovelorn artist who charms Joy enough to postpone her trip and give romance in LA one last shot. But Tom blows her off, through no fault of his own which is unbeknownst to Joy.  Joy upset takes off.

Not two hours outside of town her car is totaled and she ends up being rescued by a handsome, real life cowboy, Luke.  Luke is a bull rider who is with a traveling rodeo; when Joy steps onto a tour bus filled with cowboys, she thinks she has died and gone to heaven.

Meanwhile, Joy’s friends can’t get a hold of her and thinks she is in trouble.  Employing Tom and his cantankerous friend, Lou, they head out to rescue her.  The adventure begins as they track her to an old western movie town, where she is falling for Luke.  Tom must decide whether or not to give up or to fight for the woman he loves.
